SERVEFEST features a clothing exchange, food drive, and exciting activities like bouncy houses. Enjoy delicious hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy while exploring public safety displays with firetrucks and police cars. Don't miss the chance to participate in a blood drive, and discover various service booths and opportunities on this special day of service.
Join us for a community event on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at 48h Street and Brown Road. This day of service is part of our annual SERVEFEST. Admission is free, and donations are welcome. Don't forget to sign up for the blood drive!

We have three goals for this community event: 1) collect non-perishable food items for our local food banks; 2) gather and distribute gently used clothing to those in need; and 3) provide our community with an opportunity to learn about and serve with local charities and first responders on this day of service.

Sunshine Acres provides a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life.

A New Leaf provides a safe secure home for families in need, giving them a chance to make a brighter future for themselves. It helps families move from crisis to stability, making our community a better place to live.

Velda Rose Food Pantry provides life sustaining food to those in need who live in our community. It is sponsored by the Red Mountain United Methodist Church.

Child Crisis Arizona provides a safe environment for children and youth, free from abuse and neglect, by fostering strong, successful families through prevention, intervention, and education programs focused on creating safe kids and strong families making our community a better place to live.

ASA Now operates a 24/7 emergency giving closet that offers clothing and basic essentials for children and youth who have entered the foster care system as well as young adults (18-22 year old) aging out of foster care, who are ready to begin the journey of their independent lives.

Referrals come in from the police, prosecutor offices, crisis response teams and DV advocates from other nonprofit agencies; with support from our community we are able to provide emergency transportation, temporary hotel stays, hygiene items and security measures to ensure the Survivors safety ~ one escape at a time.

Jose’s Closet supports foster, kinship, and adoptive families by providing free access to clothing, toys, baby gear, and other essential items. Our goal is to ease the financial stress that often comes with caring for children through foster care and adoption.

Gathering Humanity collects community donations and volunteer power to furnish apartments for refugees and others in need.

neglected children in foster care.
The Vitalant Blood Drive will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Each of our charities will have a booth where you can learn about the mission and the services provided by that charity. Some will have projects your family can do right then and there.
Bring a donation of any canned food item, pancake mix, peanut butter and jelly, mac & cheese or a can opener and get your car hand washed in exchange.
Come play festival games or let your kids bounce in bouncy houses - all in exchange for your donation of food or time.
We plan to feed 1000 volunteers. So show up and claim a free hot dog, chips or soda. Lunch will be served from Noon until we run out of food.
We've gathered a ton of shoes and clothing. Come "shop" for what you and your children need at our clothing exchange. All items free of charge to those in need.
